Google calendar widget: crowded, ugly, illegible

    I have my calendar linked on another page, but really wanted it visible when people first land on the blog. I followed the exact directions given for adding a text widget.

    I thought I could put an image here, but can’t. The calendar will pop-out, but only when clicked on in one tiny, unmarked spot. It’s impossible to even read the dates in a weekly view, they crowd on top of each other.

    Is this normal? It’s in the sidebar, MistyLake.
