Gallery Format . . . Confused.
-
I created a new blog for a series of comics that came out based on THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD. I want to use the Gallery format, and I even clicked it. But how does it work? I expected to see just the opening comic book page, and a link to click on it so I could view the entire panel, but all I get is the entire post as I set it up. What am I doing wrong. I saw the example that wordpress set up for this theme, and I want it to look like that.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Here’s the link to the instructions on creating a gallery found in the support documentation > http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/
Here’s the link to another Volunteer’s excellent blog on the Gallery functions > http://wp.me/p8gVp-L -
You might be confusing the Gallery post format, which you can read more about here, http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-formats/ , with the Gallery feature, which tt linked to in her reply.
Since it seems the site linked to your username is set up entirely with pages, I’m having trouble locating the post in question.
You might also want to read this support doc on the difference between posts and pages: http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

Okay, I got it all configured the way I want it now, but when I changed my privacy settings OFF of it being private, I noticed I STILL can’t post a link to it anywhere.
