Freshly Pressed Criteria
-
I’m just curious what it takes to be Freshly Pressed. I’ve noticed blogs with have a fourth less followers than I do have received this dubious honor and also blogs with less interaction. My blog has a high level of interaction and I post every few days with (usually) around 150-200 likes on my posts except for a few that didn’t.
I participate in two challenges run by other bloggers also. It’s not the end of the world that I am not Freshly Pressed but it seems to me after three years of blogging and literally transforming my blog from a knee replacement blog to a photography blog, updating my camera club dates via my google calendar, and all the Facebook referrals I’ve been getting lately….why am I not Freshly Pressed?
Yes I’m pouting. :-(
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Staff do the selection and all we know is what’s here http://en.support.wordpress.com/freshly-pressed/

I have blogged for 8 years here and have answered support questions too and I am on my way out. I predate all but a single staff member being on support staff. I also predate the support docs. Many of the answers other Volunteers and I have provided over the years are reflected in the support docs. However, I am not pouting as I have never desired to have any of my posts freshly pressed. My bounce rate is already high enough – thanks. lol :D

I already do enjoy my time away from here and I always have. I also also enjoy my time here too and I will be around for very long time whether or not I choose to answer support questions. ;)

I posted a spoof on freshly pressed a year ago. You might get a kick out of it. Some of the comments are funny too.

Sorry but I am time challenged when it comes to blog reading. When I answer questions here I am multitasking from my business. Normally I don’t need to intervene there but I do have to be ready to do that on a second’s notice.
