  well u read the title. can anyone tell me any free hosts that that support the WordPress.org package ?

  Can I suggest that you ask this over at wordpress.org support forums?

  As you probably know this forum is specifically for the support of .com blogs and we get told off if we start recommending hosts (paid or otherwise).

  People get told off on .org for recommending hosts as well ;)

  Your best bet is to take a look at the minimum requirements for running wordpress, and compare them with the features offered by the hosts you have in mind. You can probably manage without mod_rewrite, but PHP and mySQL are essential.
