Fraudulent WordPress website
-
Hello!
How do I report a fraudulent WordPress website? Someone has managed to copy my own webstore (over 7000 different products) on WordPress and has set up a webstore – presumably to scan legitimate customers?
All our product images, tags and descriptions have been copied – many of these are unique to us with associated copyright infringements too!
I can see that the creator has also done the same to at least one other webstore.
Please help so that I can get this website(s) taken down.
Many thanks!

First check via a Whois that the site in question is hosted here at WordPress.com and not elsewhere. You do need to make sure you report the site at wherever it is hosted,
https://wordpress.com/support/report-blogs/ saysBefore reporting a site with this form please verify that the site in question is hosted by Automattic. As a reminder, we have no control over self-hosted sites built using free WordPress software which may mention “Powered by WordPress.org” or something similar. Those sites use the open-source WordPress software and aren’t hosted by us, so you should contact the appropriate web host with complaints.

Thank you for your reply.
Who.is isn’t giving me much info, unfortunately.
The website is:
https://www.footballjerseysforsale.infoThey also seem to be operating a similar scam here:
https://www.cheapjerseyswhloe.comAny more help would be appreciated!

If they are using Cloudflare I don’t know what the next step is for you apart from paying for legal assistance to take the sites down.

You could try to contact Cloudflare, https://www.cloudflare.com/trust-hub/reporting-abuse/

Thank you – I have contacted Cloudflare and reported.
Further investigation shows the user is a serial scammer with many similar websites and has been active in various guises for some time:
