  [I hope this is appropriate for the forum: it is well-intentioned.]

  How many WordPress sites are *hosted* here at WordPress.com (perhaps even using premium domain name forwarding) versus sites hosted elsewhere using WordPress software downloaded to a paid domain host? (For example, mine is currently one of the latter, but was earlier one of the former.)
