Followers Decreasing

Add topic to favorites
Up until yesterday, I had nearly 1200 followers. Then, last night while I was adding my daily blog, the counter started going backward and it now lists 498 followers. How can that be fixed?

The counter includes your WordPress followers as well as any Facebook and Twitter followers you have if you are using Publicize. I’m wondering if you might have disconnected Facebook or Twitter so it’s stopped counting your followers there? If you are using Publicize it might be worth checking that you are still connected – wp-admin dashboard > settings > sharing.
