Excerpts only on homepage

At the moment my homepage displays my full posts, but I’d like to change that to display only an excerpts, with links to the actual posts. Is this possible? Thanks, Phoebe

Hi there,
The theme you are using on your site (Independent Publisher) does not have the option to display excerpts instead of the full post.
However you can insert your own “continue reading” links to shorten post on the blog feed on your site by inserting the More Block in the place where you want the post to be cut short. More info on how to add that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/blocks/more-block/
You will need to add this manually to each post, but as a benefit it does allow you to determine the best place to cut the text rather than having the link inserted automatically after a preset number of words.
