Examples of themes

Add topic to favorites
A few years back, when looking for a new theme, several featured examples of blogs/sites using that theme were given in the theme description page. Is this still done? If so, where are they located? This was a great way to see the theme “in action,” and was very helpful in picking a new theme. Thanks!

Funny, I have been looking at all different themes and I could not see them. I see them in your link though. Thanks. Perhaps I was going from my Dashboard to Appearance and then Themes and that gives a different page. Well I am glad to have found them. Thanks.

Ok, I figured something out. When I look for a theme using the above link on my IPad, it does not give the examples, but when I do it on my laptop, it shows them. Why don’t they show up on my Ipad? Thanks.

Here’s the link for the iOs forum for the WordPress app so you can post there and make the developers aware of your issue http://ios.forums.wordpress.org/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org, click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to to those forums.

Thank you TimeThief. I thought that I was losing it. I have been mostly working on my Ipad and really missed those theme examples. I am not working on the App either. I’ll go over to the other side. I hope that they don’t kick me out because I am a wp.com user. Thanks.

Examples of sites using a particular theme are still available in the older theme showcase here – https://theme.wordpress.com/ – but not the newer showcase here: https://wordpress.com/themes

There’s no need to post in the iOS forum as this isn’t an iOS issue – hope this clarifies and sorry for any confusion. :)
