Hi there, You mention Dropbox in your post, but your screenshot has a Google Drive link in it.
It also looks like you’re using the Embed Block https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/embed-block/ If you want to embed from Google Drive, you need to use the HTML Block https://wordpress.com/support/google-docs/#google-drive
If that still doesn’t work for you, what we’ve done in the past is to create a JPG of the document’s first page and insert it in the post or page and then link the image to the file hosted elsewhere.
Hope that helps, but if you have other questions about this, please post back here.

Hello again, looking at the support guide on the Embed Block that I linked to earlier, it doesn’t look like Dropbox is a supported service here on WordPress.com. https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/embed-block/#supported-services
So in that case the other option I mentioned earlier, grabbing a JPG of the first page of the document and inserting it and then linking it to the file, or even a simple text link, would be your options here.
However I do want to ask, are you trying to embed it here on your WordPress.com website abilicorp.wordpress.com or a different website? I see both screenshots mention a different site address abilicorp.com in the browser address bar. That site is using the open source WordPress software hosted on GoDaddy.
If this is for that site, you’ll want to ask the folks over at the support forums for that software https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ Perhaps they can suggest a different solution for you, although looking at the support documentation https://wordpress.org/support/article/embeds/ it doesn’t look like Dropbox is supported in the Embed block regardless.
Just to clarify, these support forums you’ve posted to assist sites hosted here on WordPress.com, the hosting provider. You can learn more about the differences between the two flavors of WordPress in this guide: https://wordpress.org/support/article/wordpress-vs-wordpress-com/

My website is Abilicorp.com
The embedded file has hyperlinks so a jpg file won’t work
When I use the link as a menu item see https://snipboard.io/ACYJW3.jpg https://snipboard.io/LhrxAo.jpg. I want to embed it into a page -
Hello again, Since your site is using the self-hosted WordPress software, I recommend posting to the forums https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting as they are more familiar with that software and might be able to suggest a different solution for you. Cheers.
