Email notification with Visual Composer are wonky!

  • Everytime I publish a post I get an email notification from WordPress.com. The problem is the looks like the following…

    [vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]I am text block. .[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]

This is due to using VIsual Composer to create the post. The email contains part of the body of the post which is formatted for visual composer but looks like this in HTML and plain text.

Is there anyway to format this email so it shows up correctly?

    Thanks for any help!

  • Hi, you are in the wrong forum.
This forum is only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

And you should ask in the WordPress.org forum.
    http://wordpress.org/support/

  • Ok, I appreciate the help.

    Thank you.

  • One question,

The email I am referring to is coming from wordpress.com. Why is wordpress.com emailing me on a new published post for a blog not hosted here?

    Thanks again for any help!

  • Ok, figured that one out.

Due to my non WordPress.com site using Jetpack, WordPress.com was managing my email notifications.

I disconnected Jetpack and now everything is golden!

    Thank you for the help!
