education category?

  How about adding an “education” category to the WordPress front page, where you’ve got: Science, Religion, Cars, Family, Politics, How To, etc.?

  There’s a bunch of blogs and posts which deal with education issues/school issues that could be highlighted there.

  To make sure staff sees your suggestion, use the “support” tab or go to http://wordpress.com/contact-support/ and send your request in.

  There are other blog networks that deal exclusively with education e.g. http://edublogs.org/, I don’t think Automattic would want to tread on their patch.

  Edublogs seems to be more teacher to teacher or student focused. I’m talking about having a category for people here who are posting about school issues or education issues and might want to find other posters.
