Editing photos? Chose pic?

    I dont like the new WordPress, the new way of editing posts. I always add a picture to my posts, and until now I was always able to add one picture and to make that one picture to my chosen picture, then one to be seen on the main side of the blog. From now I actually have to load the same picture twice – once to have it in the post and one to have it seen on the main site of the blog. This takes time and unnecessary megabites. Is this how it is to be from now on? Or do I misunderstand the new way of doing it?
