E-mail followers not displaying

Hello !
I received a lot of e-mails about someone subscribing Via E-mail, but I can’t find them on list of e-mail subscribers (People->E-mail followers)

Do people that subscribed via e-mail not count ? and are not displayed on list for e-mail followers on ? url : https://wordpress.com/people/email-followers/yourblogname.wordpress.com

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@staff-zinnia yes indeed ! I’ve heard that there’s a bot spam with outlook e-mail followers, but they still appear on the list ;)

The spam followers are being removed. I don’t see any email followers on that site.

@staff-zinnia thank you for the information. So from what I understand, if someone follows me via-email, and it will not be a bot, I should see them without any issues ? no matter if it’s gmail, outlook or other e-mail provider ?
