Draft publication

    Hi, I edited and then published a draft on Friday that, to my knowledge, had been a draft for several months. However, when I published it, it seems that the date of publication WordPress gave it was the date I started the draft rather than the date I actually published it; and so it was largely missed by my readers. Is this meant to happen, or is there a way to fix this in future?
