  Ik wil graag mijn nameserver aanpassen. Ik heb mijn domein bij een hostnet bedrijf. Er is mij verteld dat ik met jullie contact op moet nemen om door te geven welk domein ik wil gebruiken zodat het dan correct is ingesteld.

  Ik wil dit graag veranderen in http://www.getfitbyjamieelyne.nl

  Hi getfitbyjamieelyne,

  It sounds like you need “domain mapping”. Domain mapping allows you to use your own domain name that you have registered outside of WordPress.com and map it to your WP adress: getfitbyjamieelyne.wordpress.com. The process involves changing your name servers at your current domain name provider/host. Here is a detailed guide to help you map your domain to WordPress.com:

  Note, at the bottom of the Support article, you will find instructions for changing your name servers for some common domain name providers.

  When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one wherein Staff have to add a zone record to make domain mapping possible we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads.   Hi there,

  I’ve mapped the domain for you. You’ll still need to do a few things:

  1) Purchase the subscription here by renewing:
  https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades

  2) Point the domain to our name servers:

  ns1.wordpress.com
  ns2.wordpress.com
  ns3.wordpress.com

  3) After giving that a few hours to take effect, set the domain as primary under https://wordpress.com/my-domains
