Domain Mapping Renewal problem

    Someone transferred domain ownership to me a year ago. Domain mapping at WordPress expires in a few days. When I click on the popup to renew, I can get all the way through to the payment option, after which it refuses to let me renew and says “This subscription was originally purchased by another user. Please ask the subscription owner to renew the subscription.” How can I transfer this subscription ownership to renew domain mapping, or, alternately, what instructions can I give the original purchaser to have them transfer the subscription ownership to me?
