Domain deleted / E-Mail forwarding
-
Dear Sir and Madame,
it is completely confusing. We ordered the domain essenundessenlassen.com for our blog and it worked fine so far. Afterwards we wanted to create an email forward but it’s not possible as you described in your support article. It’s always linking to Google. Out of a sudden, the domain essenundessenlassen.com is not being displayed in the back end – but the page is still visible at the front end. Could you please help us with this topic?Best regards,

Good evening, we started this topic 3 days ago but no reply by now. Could you please assist? It’s a technical issue in the background and we have no clue how to proceed.

Hi @essenundessenlassen, please be sure to log into the account you used to purchase the upgrade. Then you can get in touch with support directly instead of posting in the community forums:
https://wordpress.com/help/contactWe’ll reach out via email to the owners of the account. Cheers!

Thanks, Supernovia for your quick reply. But that’s the problem. The domain is not shown under the account. The free domain is showing instead (but the domain “essenundessenlassen.com” is still pointing to the right page). Could you please have a look at it?

Hi @essenundessenlassen, sure. The trouble is that under this account, you have just https://essenundessenlassensite.wordpress.com/ — which is a free site without any domain upgrades.
Another account owns the domain essenundessenlassen.com , and unless you are logged into that account, you will not see its settings.
Can you log out by going here: https://wordpress.com/me and clicking Sign Out, then sign again on using the email address that received the receipt for the domain? That account will be able to access the domain’s settings, and it will get direct support.

Thanks for your help – it seems that the user has been changed since the domain upgrade. That caused the confusion. Topic solved.
