  Total newbie question, but: I’m planning to host wordpress on my own server. Will I still have the excellent dashboard feature with the great, easy-to-use upload and edit interface? Will I be able to log in to the dashboard remotely? Thanks in advance!

  Yes [assuming you install 2.0+, that is]. And for other questions once you’ve installed please check the .org support forum at http://wordpress.org/support.

  Only thing really missing is the stats page. I’ve yet to find one that is the same for our hosted WP installs. I wonder if maybe we can get Matt to publish it. I didn’t see it in MU….
