Darken Horizontal Line
-
Is it possible using inline CSS code in a Post to darken the Horizontal Line (the standard line option that is from the editor) that is used between the pictures to divide the how to do it steps – I don’t have the CSS upgrade on my site –
I would like the color to be at least as dark at the type – the light gray is just too light for my old eyes
thanks

Hi, @auxclass
Maybe this post will help you (from panos/justpi):

Morning Richard
That will work great – just tested on the new Post I am working on for making Key Fobs and a nice black line across the page – will go back and change the older Post –
I have also saved the code to my format file
take care & have a nice summer
thanks much for the great fix

PS – the code does seem to get eaten when switching back to Visual Edit mode – guess I will need to leave the editor in Text – but not too much left to edit so will not be too hard

You can also try a div instead of a paragraph. The editor shouldn’t delete a div with the non-breaking space in it.

The div seems to stay
I have the “WordPress should correct…” for self defense
The other workaround was to leave the /hr in place and wait until just before publishing to change to the darker line – but with the div sticking no need for that
web site traffic finally picking up – seems like people were not interested in boating with the extra snow on the ground
thanks again for the help
good luck with the busy summer – there are up sides to busy and having a job that is interesting
take care
