customising full frame theme

  • There’s several things I need to do on my website before I’m happy with it but really struggling to work out how to do it. I’m fairly low on html/css knowledge and finding it hard to manoeuvre about wordpress to work all this out, so would really appreciate some help:
    1) I want to move the text box (in white) lower on my page so it doesn’t obscure the pictures (featured image). Alternatively I need to resize the pictures so their not obscured but the text box but I’ve not been able to do this using the resizing tool in the media library. It just hasn’t made a difference at all.

    2) I want to change the text alignment for the page title which appears on the featured image, this will differ left and right according to the page

    3) I need to adjust the featured image on the home page so there isn’t the glimpse of background between the site title and the image (i.e. where the menu is) this doesn’t happen on the other pages and I can’t work out why it’s happening on this one!

  • Could you write back with a link to the WordPress.com blog you’re working on? http://lisajcoates.com/ is a WordPress.org blog—if that’s the one you’re working on then you should ask for help directly from the theme author or at http://wordpress.org/support/ instead of here.
