So let me get this straight: I cannot add a background image to my blog unless and until I pay wordpress $99 a year?

Yes. Yes to all of this. NO TO ANYTHING FUCKING WORKING. I have the theme activated. I go to the customizer. I uploaded a background image yesterday. It shows up in the customizer as my background image. IT DOES NOT SHOW UP ON MY ACTUAL MOTHERFUCKING PAGE.

Fucking christ I hate this fucking site.
