Currency problem when upgrading to Premium plan
-
Hello. I first posted about this problem one month ago (https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/change-currency-for-premium-account-plan?replies=1#post-2677718) and nobody ever responded, so I’m starting again because I am losing my patience.
I started my website while in Germany, but reside in the US. I am now back in the US and WordPress still wants to bill me in euros. I read similar topics in this forum and tried everything I could to no avail. When I enter my credit card details and change the country to the US, it still wants to bill me in euros. I tried paying with my American Paypal account the same thing happens: Paypal still wants to bill me in euros and calculates the exchange rate in dollars after I log in. I have been ready to pay to upgrade my plan and buy my own domain name for one month now. Could someone please help me solve this problem??? Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. I am already aware that upgrades are billed annually and that I will be paying in full. I have also looked at all the links you provided, but they do not solve my currency issue. No matter what I do, WordPress wants to bill me in euros, even though I am logged in as Admin and physically in the US. How do I get a member of staff to help? I’ve been trying for a month now. Thanks.

Thank you so much. That’s helpful! I had no idea I had to tag modlook to my question. It is anything, but obvious. I had clicked on Help and just assumed that a member of staff would respond to my problem like on any other website. Hopefully I will hear back soon because this has been driving me insane. Thanks again for your help. I really appreciate.

Hi @camisard1702, someone flagged your other thread too, so I saw that first since it was older. We’ve replied there. You should be set to pay in Euros already.
I’ll close this thread, but if you need help in the meantime, feel free to reply in the other thread here:
