content being removed and deleted

    Hello,
    My content is being removed by someone claiming to be ‘Administrator’ and then check the activity log it is showing an administrator deleted my upload and attachments.

    Who is doing this and why?

    I have taken screenshots from my activity log that shows my content is being deleted by someone as I upload them. Please advise.

    If someone is able to do with your wordpress.com site, it means they have full access to your wordpress.com account and your email account.

    As you say “he has hacked into several of my previous websites.” I’m very sure you have a serious security problem with your computer, smartphone or whatever.

    1. Check your computer, smartphone or whatever. for malware and spyware
    2. Change your password to a real strong password – https://wordpress.com/support/passwords/
    3. activate 2FA – https://wordpress.com/support/security/two-step-authentication/

    I tagged this thread for attention by Staff, they can check your logs to see what’s going on.

    Can you tell me more about what you’re uploading to the site please?

    The reason why I ask is because I can see a .txt file is being uploaded, and it looks like this is generated from an XML file.

    Any context you’re able to provide will help us to retrace some steps and advise on what could be happening here.
