Complete CSS Customization – an example
-
I recycled a sandbox skin I wrote for another blog on my own site. I’m pretty proud of it and would like to show it off as an example for what some lines of CSS can achieve.
(I would plug this in the appropriate thread. But the forums search is broken beyond belief)
-
it was here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=25237&replies=14 but now it’s closed too as was the previous thread. :) so just as well you started a new one.
-
I like the idea that your front page shows titles of your latest posts. And I also like the scheme.
-
Can anybody else, other than delta, show off here too? Cause I’m going to show off soon enough. Heheheh…

currently i’m using city slicker, a skin ported to sandbox by juan. i’m going to unveil a new skin soon. :)

Not exactly what we asked for. Have you got a link to the actual WordPress.com blog where you’re using that?
-
That HTML is not even wordpress generated (don’t ask me how I can tell this, I just can)
-
So somebody’s going around the internet posting random bits of HTML? That sounds like a productive activity.

So glad I followed my heart. I was just about to copy and paste that to my css editor, being desperate with my own lines…
Heheheh.

i’m showing off now. heheh… successfully messed up:
1. Harmful color scheme
2. No sidebar (which I now think it’s better off without sidebar
3. The code wasn’t originally mine.somebody… pull my hair, please

Hmmm. I like blogs that give you a good bit of the story right on the front page, otherwise I’m too lazy to click through. Not so much as a teaser? Nice layout, though.
