Characters change to html code automatically

    Hello,

    This is a problem which I have faced for pretty long. I need to use many characters like ‘<‘, ‘>’, ‘&’ and such as a part of the html code. I compile the article in html and then post it. It looks fine when it is posted. But somehow suddenly without any edits to the post sometimes these are replaced with ‘<‘ , ‘>’ and ‘&’ respectively. Sometimes, if I am updating one part of the post which did not change any of these characters, and update the post, these kind of characters get replaced.

    What is going on here, any suggestions on how to get rid of this problem? Or is there I should be doing and I am not?
