Changing my public display name

  I’ve tried and tried without success to change my public display name. How can I do this please? There’s a box that says, Primary Site, and underneath is my old name – Elliesofia Thompson, and I want to change it to Ellie Thompson. Help please.

  Hey there, your public display name is set here actually:
  https://wordpress.com/me

  The primary site is just the site that the interface selects if you haven’t chosen one yourself. Did you want to update the title of that site in its settings? If so, go ahead and select it here, then just update the site title as you like:
  https://wordpress.com/settings
