Changing H1 in DePo Masthead

I’ve searched the forums and usually find this topic but it’s always been closed before I can read the answer. I need to change the H1 to our magazine logo name; I use the DePo Masthead theme. Please let me know how I can go about solving this issue.

Yes, I have paid upgrade. And I’m learning CSS editing as I go along. But what I’m saying is that I still haven’t found the answer on how to change the H1 heading in DePo Masthead.

What exactly do you want to change about the h1? Size, font-family, color, what?

I also want to change the font for my site name. I think it is labeled as H1….. I can change the font that is used for the entire site by editing as follows:

}

body {
line-height:1;
color:black;
background:#fff;
font:88%/1.28em Futura, serif;
}

However I want to change my site name font to moderna….

when I edit the following nothing happens:

}

h1.name span {
color:#fff;
text-transform:uppercase;
background:#666;
font:1.28em/33px Moderna, Moderna, Moderna;
text-align:center;
display:inline;
padding:5px 10px;
}

I thought for sure this was the thing to edit due to the actual size (font:1.28em/33px) which is really large compared to any other instance of a font in the code.

Can Anyone offer any help?

The font size for the header automatically adjusts in height depending on the length of the title and as far as I can tell, it is not done in the CSS. Try adding the following to your CSS and adjusting the height number.
```
element.style {
font-size:120px;
}
```

You’d add this CSS class. Moderna isn’t a basic CSS font style from my understanding and only the basic fonts will work here.
```
#header h1 {
font-family: Moderna;
}
```
maybe this site would help, Moderna looks like a Sans-serif type font

Yeah you know what, I do like moderna but the licensing is kinda strange so I am going to use it….
