Changing Custom Image Header

  • I am really new at this, so bear with me. I added a image header, but wanted to change it. Every time I go in it appears that I have changed it, but when I look it is the original. I really want to change this later, but I cannot even update the current image.

beautyandfitness is my blog. Thanks for any heap

  • I’m seeing you from mid-nose up. Is that right or wrong? If it’s right, do a forced reload (CTRL + F5) so you’re not looking at a cached page. If it’s wrong, let us know and tell us exactly how you’re changing it, or attempting to. (btw, you can link your wordpress.com blog to your username in your profile.)

  • I am having the exact same problem! Please help.

    my blog is onemorebabystep.

I am going to custom header, uploading an image from my computer thru the box/browse link available on the custom header page, cropping the image with the crop image box supplied, and then that image appears, looks correct– I close out (even closing down the whole internet) and go back to it later and it’s reverted back to the original image!

  • We need the whole URL of your blog, right from the http part.

What is the image supposed to be? What kind of file is it?

onemorebabystep – If you skip the online cropping part and upload an image that is exactly 690 x 115 pixels (using the 2nd upload box) it should work.

It’s a jpeg file– supposed to be two feet– showing the whole feet; there should NOT be pants showing at the top of the picture. I keep cropping it correctly, and at first it looks like it works, but then I come back to the site later and it’s reverted back to the original upload w/ the incorrect cropping.

  • Did you try resizing it as I mentioned before uploading?
