Change Header Font with Typekit
-
I have purchased the Customization upgrade, and set up my typekit account, but I can’t make the header title of “Forever” change. I have managed to make the post titles change, (which I didn’t want) but can’t get the header font to chnage. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to change the CSS as well as use the typekit plug-in in the font editor?

If you are using the advanced Typekit option, what you would do is assign the selector for the header title (which is “#site-title” for the main site title) in your Kit Editor at Typekit.com. Here’s a walkthrough showing how to set it up, including screenshots:
http://help.typekit.com/customer/portal/articles/6840#advanced-modeI checked your http://plowinginpearls.com/ site and I found that you updated your site’s headings using the font-family property with CSS that looks like this:
#site-title { font-family:penna-connected, sans-serif; }
That works too, but note that if you change the font through the Typekit interface (the Kit Editor), then you will also need to update the font name throughout your custom CSS.
