It appears to me that centering a (non-full-width) youtube embed on a page doesn’t work reliably , at least in Baskerville theme.

First, there are youtube embed attributes to align left and right, but not center. Why not?

Absent attributes, I guess you have to use the text-align property of a paragraph or division. Sometimes this works, sometimes it is ignored and the embed gets aligned left anyway (especially if there is no text within the paragraph), i.e.:

<p style=”text-align:center;”>
[embed width="200"] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95ImXirddgU [/embed]
</p>

Is there a trick?

it’s a general issue. Would be good to know if this is theme-related or wordpress/embed-related. (yes, wordpress.COM). Thanks
