(Don’t ask me to use the hautainly named Gutenberg Editor as it is light-years behind on the Classic Editor in #a11y and #inclusion features, like missing a lot of useful keyboard shortcuts and lacking Ctrl-F searching through categories – which one needs when having a tree of 100+ categories)The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I wasn’t able to duplicate this on my test site. My default category (misc) was selected automatically in the Classic editor. When I clicked update, that category stayed checked, but no others.
Can you think of any conditions you have there that I may not have on my setup? You mentioned a11y and inclusion: if you’re using keyboard shortcuts or accessibility features or something along those lines that I could try using to duplicate the issue, can you share that?
Or, would you like us to test this on a test (unpublished) post from your account to see if it’s an account or site-level issue? Thanks in advance!
