Categories? Defaulting to 64?

    I have no idea what is going on, but before the upgrade I was able to have all my posts default into one category (I don’t use them, I use tags.) Now? If I forget to label a category is defaults to 64? (I assume this is an error code?) I try to delete the catergory 64 and it will disappear from my dashboard but still on the posts. I don’t want any categories, most certainly not randomly labeled as 64 and want to know how I can get the default method of ONE category back to use if I have to use anything.
