capability of author

    I’m trying to build a multi-user website using WordPress.
    I don’t wanna role author to edit/create/delete pages.
    By using add_cap and remove_cap, I successfully did that. However, on the IOS wordpress app, there is a column called Pages, in that column, an author can set the status of a page as Draft, which is bad since other un-admin users cannot see that page anymore. I try to find a way to avoid that but it seems have no capability called “move_to_draft” or something like that.
    Is there anybody know how to avoid that and help me out with that? Thank you
