Can't make changes to settings after restoring from backup
-
My business plan expired and I tried to renew, but I could only buy a pro plan. After purchasing the pro plan, I noticed my site was gone. So I installed the All-in-one backup plug-in and did a restore from a recent backup. The content has been restored, but the site is set to private. When I go into settings, the privacy setting is grayed out. There is a message in the top right “Something went wrong. Visit site admin.” How to I get my site public again?

Hi there,
Please contact live chat support at https://wordpress.com/help/contact so they can help you get this sorted out.

All sites on our Business/Pro plans come with real-time backups built in, so you shouldn’t ever need to use a third party backup plugin to restore backups on your site:

Our live chat team should be able to help you restore one of our backups if needed.
