Can't get "continue reading" to show up on excerpts

    I am using the “Lenscap” theme for my site, which defaults to excerpts on the blog page.

    On the blog page, my excerpts do not have “continue reading” showing at the end.

    I’ve tried with and without the “read more” tag. I’ve also tried adding my own excerpt, though as I said, the Lenscap theme does that on it’s own.

    Any suggestions?

    Please refer to the following links to add the “Continue Reading” link to your excerpts.

    I see that you have attempted to add the “read more” tag as well. One suggestion is to check your widget. I added the “Recent Post” widget to the Header and the “Continue Reading” link shows up.

    To get there, following this instruction:
    1. Open Theme Customization
    2. Click on Widgets
    3. Select any part of the site you want to add the widget to.
    4. Click on Add a Widget
    5. Search for “Recent Posts” and add it.
