can’t access my blog without a WordPress account
-
Followers from Instagram cannot view my blog without first creating a WordPress account. I have quadruple checked that my blog is set to “public” and does not require a subscription to view.
Is this standard practice of WordPress? If so, it would have been nice to know before spending many hours creating this blog. What a waste. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
No, it is not standard practice. People should be able to view and WordPress.com site without having to register or log in.
I’m not having any trouble viewing http://youthnaturallyblog.wordpress.com/ without being logged into WordPress.com.
Could you share an example of an IG post where you are linking to your WordPress.com site?

Thank you for the reply. The site is viewable but the blog posts are not. Here is a link to one https://youthnaturallyblog.wordpress.com/2023/08/23/choosing-the-perfect-facial-skin-cleanser/
I embedded this link in a story on my Instagram and when visiting the page it asks you to log into WordPress to view. I tried it myself by first logging out of WordPress and I get the same message.

Hi there,
I fixed it for you. The Paid Content block has been inserted in the Single Posts template. This caused your posts to only be visible to paid subscribers.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.
