  this is my 4th or 5th try – I’m 81 yr old and need help – cannot get avatar to show up on my site ???

  Hello @marketlevine,

  WordPress.com uses Gravatar to power the avatars (profile pictures) here.
  You can change your avatar using these steps:

  • Visit My Profile Settings
  • Click the avatar (image) in the top left to Update Profile Photo
  • When the popup appears, select a photo from your computer.

  Click Change My Photo to save your new Gravatar photo.
