Is there any way I can put a poll in my sidebar? With a widget?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Survey Daddy asked if I wanted my poll in my sidebar on their screen, and Hotmail.

I use the PollDaddy one thats on this site but it hasn’t asked if I want it in my sidebar :(

Polls > All Polls: hover under poll name, click “Embed & Link”, copy WordPress shortcode, paste in Text widget.

I tried that but it doesn’t come up with anything. The space where it should be is just blank.

That’s because you tried to put the same poll you’ve got in one of your latest posts. A poll can only show up in one place: if you need it in the sidebar, you must remove it from the post.

Dashboard sidebar > Polls > All Polls: hover over poll title, click Edit, click “Narrow”, click Save Poll.
