Button2-Content Options-Blog Display
-
I’ve just noticed a discrepancy between the Customizer and the actual display on the blog regards the display of the “continue reading” link.
Before the update, the Continue Reading link in Button came right below the first few sentences of the blog post. After the update the Continue Reading link for that same post now displays way below the Likes display.
However, in the Customizer that link continues to appear after the first few sentences.
I really hope that the correct display is following the first few lines as previously because right now the link to continue reading the post is very disconnected to the post itself.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy –
Thanks for getting in touch. I see exactly what you’re referring to with the Continue Reading link. I’m going to take a closer look and get back to you about what I discover.
-
We have filed a report for our theme team to take a look at this for you. I’ll post an update back here once we hear from them.
-
OK-thanks. I really look forward to getting that link back up to where it makes sense for readers ASAP. :)

Hello again, I am sorry to be so impatient about this issue, but it really is jarring. The link to continue reading a post in the Button2 theme actually appears *below* the divider between posts.
So until you let me know that this issue has been corrected, I’ve reverted to the original Button theme.
-
I wish I could give you a hard timeline on when to expect a fix but I’m not able to provide that. I will report back here to you once I have an update.
-
OK-shame though. It’s a great theme, but for this one issue. Somehow I kind of remember seeing other theme’s with content options that also give “theme default” in addition to “full post” or “excerpt.” That would be good too.
But as I said, I’m back to using the older version of Button until this issue is resolved.
-
I’ll keep you updated. If you’re interested in another theme but have questions I’ll be happy to answer those.
-
Thanks, and thanks for asking. I’m not so interested in another theme. I feel that Button and my site content work well together.
So, for now, I’ll stick with the older version until the odd placement of that Continue Reading link in Button2 is resolved. Looking forward to that.

Howdy @yarnaholic,
We’ve made a fix to Button 2 to fix the position of the Continue Reading link. Thanks for bringing this bug to our attention!
Cheers,
