  I love the look of the boardwalk theme, however I am having difficulty in adding the ‘about the author’ page to this layout. Has anyone had a similar issue, with this theme or another, that can give me some tips on how to make the about me page more visible. Thanks in advance.

  The main menu in the Boardwalk theme is designed to appear in the slide-out sidebar. So none of your pages including About the Author page can be brought to the front page.

  If you want your menu to appear on the home page, then you will have to switch to a theme that shows the menu upfront.
