Just to confirm, do you mean you would like to showcase your blog posts on your homepage?
If so, you can do that using blocks like Blog Posts: https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/blocks/blog-posts-block/ or Query Loop: https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/blocks/blog-posts-block/

You can absolutely do that by regisgteratin a domain name: using the domain credit ( if you purchase a yearly paid plan https://wordpress.com/pricing/ ) or you can connect a domain that’s registered elsewhere by following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/connect-existing-domain/
