Add topic to favorites
How can I promote my blog and or get listed in search engines? Thanks.

Be patient. Your blog is only a few days old. It will take time for the search engines to pick it up.

Make sure that in your dashboard you have the seach engines option ticked too.

You could also go to other blogs and comment on posts. When I say comment, I mean write something relevant, not just “Hi, here’s my blog” as that’s known as spamming.

Inbound links are important when trying to get picked up by search engines. If you post in any forums that allow links in signatures, you might want to add it in a link to your blog.

You can submit your blog to search engines with this form that’s on the right side:

Home page

You can pick having your site submitted to the top 40 search engines. Don’t pick submitting your site to thousands of search engines unless you want tons of email verifications.
