Blog notifications not being sent

    I realize that once a scheduled blog is posted, that the page must be visited in order to trigger the blog notification.
    I schedule a blog post, I wait until after it is supposed to be published, I visit the page as a visitor, the post is there, but no email is triggered to the followers. What am I doing wrong?
