Block Google Search

    How can I prevent my blog from appearing in a Google search if one were to type in it’s name, or a name of a blog post from my blog?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    You can select “I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Bing, Technorati) and archivers” on Settings > Privacy panel on your dashboard.

    Please note previously indexed pages may take some time before they are cleared from their database. Unfortunately this is something WordPress.com is unable to control, because it’s up to the search engines how often they index your site.

    Actually, the item to select is “I would like to block search engines, but allow normal visitors ” to get the result the OP wants.
