Archive shortcode

    Searching for a way to create a list of all posts in my blog, I found this post which suggested it could be done with the archives shortcode. Presumably, all I have to do to create such a list is to add

    [archive]

    into the body of a new post or page or in a text widget.

    When I try this, all I get is the shortcode literally displayed – that is, the page shows [archive] like it was just ordinary text.
