Approving Comments?

    Do I have to approve each comment individually? Apparently, a poster had replied, and it wouldn’t post without me doing something, so I had to manually approve it. Surely that’s not how it works, right?

    You are right, that is not how it has to work. In the dashboard go to settings -> discussion. Find “Before a comment appears”. Tag “An administrator must always approve the comment ” to have to approve every comment and tag “Comment author must have a previously approved comment” if you have to just approve one comment from the author. This can be useful in case of spamming accounts. Untag both if you never want to have to approve comments.
