How do I make it possible for only one ( or two ) blogs to appear on first page when people first click on, AND ALSO SEE A LIST OF ALL THE OTHER BLOGS I’VE POSTED – So people can click onto them if they wish to read them? I’m new to this and can’t figure it out. Thank you. tony (the incurable curmudgeon)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Go to settings > reading and set your site to show 1 or 2 posts per page. Make sure and click “save changes.”
To make a list of all the posts by title use the archives shortcode in a page or in a text widget (although it can quickly get unwieldy in a text widget and take up thousands of feet of space in your sidebar so I would recommend creating a “post index” page and put the archives shortcode in there.

Thanx so much…but how exactly do i create a “post index” page, and will it appear e? near, or at the top, of the latest post page? understand, u r dealing with a non-tech newbie here. many thanx sacredpath

also, Thanx sacredpath, i’ve looked, how do i find “archives shortcode” in order to put it into the “post index” page which i also can’t find? sorry, but tech idiot.

Just create a static Page (a Page, not a Post) and call it “Post Index” or whatever you want, and then put the archives shortcode in it.
Shortcodes are all listed in the Support documents (it’s a tab at the top of the forums) here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/shortcodes
The Archive shortcode is explained here:
