Hi there!
If you have a free account, you’ll have ads :)You can upgrade to a “Personal” plan (which is the best for personal use), and you’ll have access tons of features, which includes: no more ads.
I hope this helps!
Happy blogging :) -
Hi –
I am following up on the Modlook tag. This question has been properly answered already. Thank you, lalyyork.
The ads can be removed by upgrading your plan. Using ads on free sites helps us be able to offer those free sites in the first place.
If you are interested in upgrading check out the personal plan option at https://wordpress.com/pricing/

Hi!
This is a non-profit organisation site.
I’m not against ads, but…
4 ads on 1 blog page!!???!!
Look at this. One ad could be fine but FOUR.
This is quite aggressive and I honestly think
it’s not doing the job you want to do. -
I’m afraid those ad placements for a free site are normal. My site is the same. However when you have more content in the sidebar then that particular ad will be pushed further down, and viewers can easily click the top advert away.

@gillesdaigneault the advice @themagicrobot gave is good.
Ads do help us cover our costs. They’re removed with paid plans. I’d recommend this, if possible, for your organization. Even a personal plan would work fine.
I hope this helps.

I’m sorry but my humble opinion is THIS is NOT advertising,
this is called spamming. One ad at the top hiding page title and we don’t even know what they sell
and THREE ads of the Gut Doctor’s (wow, seriously!) product.I spent hours on this site and I’m very upset.
Nevertheless, have a nice day!
