Add tile beneath header image
-
I’ve got a template that allows custom header. I’ve placed the image, but beneath it, I want to tile a background image that will repeat-x behind the image.
So in stylesheet, I added the div#header .content, just as I did to the website:div#header {
width: 99.8%;
position: relative;
height: 161px;
background-image: url(images/uncleshucks_banner3.jpg);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
border-top: 1px solid #688f9e;
border-left: 1px solid #688f9e;
border-right: 1px solid #688f9e;
border-bottom: 2px solid #688f9e;
}
div#header .content {
background-image: url(../_images/corn.jpg);
background-repeat:repeat-x;
}But I’m struggling with the php in the header.php, and don’t know how to get it to call the .content class.
I’ve tried the following, but it doesn’t work, and I really don’t know the php syntax. I would appreciate help.
Here’s what I’ve tried, that doesn’t find the .content class:<div id=”containerl”>
<div id=”header”><h1>/” title=”<?php _e(‘Go to’,’mtsjourney’); ?> <?php bloginfo(‘name’); ?> <?php _e(‘Homepage’,’mtsjourney’); ?>”> </h1> <?php (‘<div class=”content”> </div>’); ?></div>
<div id=”wrapper”>
<div id=”content”> -
